Service Description

Spring Watercolour Workshop – Inspired by the Tate Collection This holiday, immerse your child in the beauty of spring through watercolour painting! Our two-session workshop explores essential watercolour techniques, inspired by artworks in the Tate Collection, with a special focus on the Pre-Raphaelites and their enchanting depictions of nature. Children will learn to layer washes, control colour blending, and create depth and luminosity—foundational skills that will build confidence and enrich their artistic practice. They will also examine how artists have captured the transformative and sometimes playful essence of spring throughout history. To further enrich the experience, Izzy, our head teacher, will be leading a private gallery tour at the Tate very soon. This tour will provide firsthand insight into the masterpieces that inspire our work. 📌 Please note: The gallery tour is an optional addition and must be booked separately. Our focused technique classes provide young artists with a strong foundation in painting while fostering creativity and expanding their portfolios. Whether your child is a budding artist or looking to refine their skills, this workshop offers a vibrant, hands-on experience in one of the most expressive art forms.
